It has been a great 3 years here exploring..... art, artists, community, business, and so many other things and avenues that always take us to other "places".... places and conversations we never would have guessed we would have experienced. From the programs we have started running to the art-making to the minutia of doing dishes after a show here.
We always love knowing how people find us.... We have a killer spot here on Front Street (which, thanks to google you can see from space 😊), we have a great community of area artists and designers in town and beyond, we have visitors and clients.
One effort we have made (in addition to the many in marketing) is exploring TripAdvisor. Don't know why this makes us feel this way, but we feel really lucky when we hear from visitors that they have come here because they saw us on TripAdvisor. It is like we have an "in".... almost like feeling we have been invited to a fancy dinner or something at a posh club. Ha! What we are saying is ...some things take time ....and many conversations ...face-to-face with many people. It is gratifying. And it is a GOOD thing.... it keeps us more human in an era of instant gratification and high volume social media.
If you would like to see what we look like on TripAdvisor... and what a few other places in Exeter, look like, click the link. Thanks for reading (and connecting with us.) We love that you are a part of our circle. And thank you, TripAdvisor.

"Demystifying ABSTRACT Art" Opening &Talk by Ree Katrak OCT 4
Ree Hall Katrak
has been a professional artist since 1987 showing at various venues throughout the Northeast and Washington State. She began using watercolors, than moved toward print-making and most recently she is working in acrylics and mixed media. The themes are always abstract in nature with lots of color and gestural marks.
Opening Reception • October 4, 5pm-8pm
Artist Discussion entitled, Demystifying Abstract Art, 6pm
Exhibit through October 31
Relax and give the image a chance to strut its stuff—relax, stop wondering what it is all 'about'—like many strange and familiar things, Life included, art isn't 'about,' it simply is. . . . Don't try to enjoy it, let it try to enjoy you. DON'T TRY TO UNDERSTAND IT, LET IT TRY TO UNDERSTAND – e. e. cummings writing about his play, HIM.
