At Art Up Front Street Studios & Gallery, Exeter, NH

Wednesdays, April 6, 13, 20, 27 from 6:30-8:30.

This class is intended for beginners and those who are seeking a refresher in using their digital cameras. The goal is for users to control the camera and image rather than the other way around.

Topics for the first session will include basic camera setup and controls, managing ISO, shutter speed and aperture settings to control exposure and other image features.

The subsequent three sessions will cover lighting, composition, lens selection, landscape, still life, and people photography.

The class provides for a great deal of flexibility in content…. based on the interests and skill levels of participants. Optional shooting assignments will be available to practice the material and get feedback.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by an adult, and will need a camera.

While the class is intended for digital equipment, much of the material is applicable to film as well.

Equipment with no manual setting capability, such as fully auto pocket cameras or phone cameras, will limit application of much of the material.

The cost is $120 for all 4 sessions.

Class meets at Art Up Front Street Studios & Gallery, Exeter, NH.

Wednesdays, April 6, 13, 20, 27 from 6:30-8:30.

Sweetness & Light: February small art exhibit in Exeter, NH. Full of heartwarming delights.

Our first community art exhibit.

Sweetness & Light: small works

We are keeping things very light here for 2022.
And you are invited.

Yup..... We think you should see this exhibit ... because >>>> simply put, it will make you happy.

Sweetness & Light...
Things that are delicious. Things that are cute. Concepts that make your heart flip flop (in a good way).
Oh my goodness... and of course there are birds, and desserts, and flowers, and more.

We look forward to seeing you!

Tuesday thru Saturday, 11-5, we are open and the inspiration is overflowing.

Take a moment from your chilly winter day to soak up the goodness of community art. You will feel an instant "lightness' when you walk in the door. And....
you will leave very satisfied that you have done something good for your heart.
Birds, flowers, luscious color, tiny charming art. Perfect for a Valentines Day gift or a winter lift.

It was great to meet the artists that are exhibiting in this exhibit. Such wonderful work. Aaaaand it is always great to make new friends.

We have a closing reception on Saturday, February 26 from 2-4 and would love to see you.

Free parking on the street and in the LEFT drive REAR parking lot. (Sorry about the caps, but it gets a little confusing for those who have never been here.)

So many thanks to Deb Wheeler-Bean for the incredible installation of this exhibit. Thank you, Deb. We love you.

From all of us at Art Up Front Street.
