Taking applications for groups or organizations of artists seeking exhibit space.

Details:

~ 5 person minimum in group or organization.

~ Organizing, curating, hanging, promotion responsibility of exhibiting group.

~ Exhibitors must be within 20 miles of Exeter.

~ 3 ½  week exhibit max.

Exhibit space size:

East wall, 32 ft, includes 2 windows and glass door.

South wall, 14 ft, includes 1 window and glass exhibit case.

West wall, 25 ft, divided into three sections.

North wall, 19 ft, includes door entry to kitchen and counter for exhibit of 3-D.

Kitchen, two bathrooms, plenty of free parking on street as well as back parking lot..

~ $75 fee for space.

~ 20% commission on art sold.

~ Artist process demos, artist talks, and exhibit receptions are welcome and encouraged if Covid conditions allow.

~ Availability for 2022: June, July, or September.

Seeking studio space for 2022?

Is it time? Are you looking for a community in which to create? 

Send us your name, address, and a small bio (10-15 sentences). Include your website, instagram, facebook and a short statement about why you are seeking a studio. Thank you! (At this time we can not accommodate processes that are high heat, noise, or fume producing.)

~ We are a collective of art peers as well as an art business that operates best when all are involved.

~ We all participate in 2 Open Studios each year.

~ We require 6 hours of gallery tending time each month.

~ We are looking for experienced artists who will be a good fit for our contemporary gallery, our abstract thought, and our collective working energy. (textile, soft sculpture, print making, assemblage, collage, mixed media, watercolor, etc).

~ A year's lease is required. Studios are 9x10 or 10x10 and are $225 and $250 a month.

Deb Wheeler-Bean assemblage and photography, Natalie Marquis paintings, cards, and art calendars, Ree Katrak's full abstract color ...plus hand made post cards, Josh Peterman's charcoal illustrations and figure works, Anne Kenny's "Industrial Quilts", and Rose Bryant's saturated color paintings and "tiny paintings". Artist in residence for December and January, Amy Tilton, has oil paintings and prints, and Shannon Hays, our December guest, is exploring her textured paper designs.

We are here Tuesday and Wednesday 11-5, then closed for the holiday.

Gratitude all around. What a wonderful 5th Anniversary Open Studios to celebrate. So many familiar faces that have been here since the beginning, so many friends and family of the artists, plus those who saw our segment on New Hampshire Chronicle. We wish we could have gotten photos of all of you!

It warms our hearts to reflect on the community we have here on Front Street. Thank you for being a part of it.
